The ROCOL Gas and Plumbing range explained

LEAK DETECTOR Spray is a specially formulated leak detection fluid designed specifically to identify even the smallest, positive pressure, gaseous leak on plastic and metallic pipework and fittings. It does this by leaving a thin uniform film of surface-active agents that accurately identify any leakage or bleeding of joints.

This leak detection spray meets all the below requirements and is the industry go to leak detection spray.

VOSA MOT Special Notice 1-2011 states that it is compulsory for MOT Test Stations to stock “A proprietary leak detection spray which meets BS EN 14291:2004 requirements”.

1. Ideal for use on bottled gases including oxygen and acetylene.
2. Meets the product specification given in IGE/UP/1B Edition 2.
3. Meets the oxygen compatibility requirements of MIL-PRF-25567E.

ROCOL GASSEAL is a leading product within the market. It is a non-setting, off white sealing compound primarily designed for Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG), Natural Gas, Air & Water.

Due to its non-setting nature, ROCOL RAPIDSEAL can be pressure tested immediately after the joint has been made. This is ideal for registered gas installers particularly when working in domestic premises.

A fluorescent yellow compound for use as a thread sealant on industrial metal pipework (including stainless steel) up to 3” diameter.

Has a rapid cure speed that minimises downtime in breakdown or repair situations.

A permanent metal repair putty which can be used to repair castings, valve and pump components.

METAL REPAIR Compound is a steel reinforced epoxy putty containing non-rusting metallic fillers for use as a solvent free repair compound throughout industry.

The product is a permanent repair compound which bonds to a wide range of substrates, including dissimilar metals, and is ideal for filling cracks, holes etc.

FUELSEAL is a high pressure pipe jointing compound for use with fuel oils and petroleum at high pressures and the sealing of threads and face connections.

STEAMSEAL is a Foliac high pressure, high temperature pipe sealant with graphite and manganese giving efficient sealing for ferrous pipework.

High pressure, setting pipe sealant for metallic threaded and flanged joints.

Sets hard but is flexible enough to resist vibration, thermal expansion and contraction of pipework.
