What is your company and how did your relationship with ROCOL begin?
Formed in 2000, DSL set out with the goal of promoting speciality lubricants in the Indian market and using our technological and commercial expertise to support a brand across India.
We wanted to work with brands that had a good understanding of application needs and that prioritised quality. Around the same time, ROCOL was looking for a partner in the region. Their commitments to quality and expertise resonated with us and so we formed an exclusive partnership for India and the surrounding area that year.
How long have you worked with ROCOL and what attracted you to the company?
Our partnership with ROCOL has been going on ever since our inception, so over 22 years. ROCOL have supported us technically and provided the backing that we needed to establish a new brand in the Indian market that was previously dominated by other, well-established players.
Besides being a well-known brand, what attracted us was the product positioning, the quality of the products and the consistency of the products.
What are your favourite parts about working with ROCOL and why?
The commitment that ROCOL has to guide and train us on the technical aspects of the business, their products and their approach to customers are the best bits of our partnership. It is this approach that helped us establish ourselves as one of the most trusted industrial sales organisations in India.
What ROCOL products do you sell?
We offer the entire range of ROCOL products. Our main focus is on the auto components, marine, film stretching and, more recently, the food and pharma sectors.
Few of our favourite products include SAPPHIRE 2, a bearing grease which is proven to give three to four times more life than other greases, as well as the range of ROCOL wire rope lubricants.
